The Details
The clients had their heart set on a warm green and white wood kitchen, a concept that the design team ran with. To bring it to life, they created a focal point in the range and hood, centering it between two built-in cabinets and adding a zellige tile backsplash. A shelf was just the ticket to warm up the space because it allowed a spot for displaying. “Personal touches like salt and pepper shakers from a special family vacation add character and interest and they help you fill out a space so it feels more lived in.”
In the informal living room, built-in shelving around a country brick fireplace creates a focal wall, with close attention paid to molding details and décor accessories.
